A Christian Community in the City Centre Seeking to Make Christ Known
The Pop Up Cafe is held at the front doors of the church. Free tea and filter coffee are on offer. Come in for a relaxed chat, or a bit of peace and quiet.
GOLDEN GIRLS, Tuesdays (fortnightly) at 2pm:
This group is for ladies to chat over a cup of tea and a 'fine piece' and meets at Charles Michie's on Union Street.
MEN TOGETHER, Wednesday (fortnightly) at 10am:
This is a group for men to relax together and 'solve the world's problems' at the Ferryhill Church Coffee Shop.
PRAYER GATHERING, Thursdays (fortnightly) at 1pm and 8pm:
We meet to pray together for the life of the church, the city and beyond. Prayer may be in a large group, small groups, or individually. Refreshments are available 30 minutes before.
THE QUAY, Fridays from 6.30pm - 8pm:
This is a drop-in for the vulnerable, and sometimes homeless, where they can come and have soup and bread, a sandwich and a hot drink on a Friday evening. They can also play pool, table tennis or board games, or chat with the volunteer staff drawn from our own and other fellowships. It meets in our large hall.
5-A-SIDE FOOTBALL, Fridays at 9pm:
A number of folk from the fellowship plus friends play 5-a-side football together on Friday evenings. Usually this is at Torry Sports Centre. All are welcome!
KNIT 'N' NATTER, Saturdays at 10am-12.30pm:
If you ever wanted to learn to knit and/or crochet, you are very welcome to come and learn from others. Free materials and refreshments provided.
BOOK GROUP, Saturdays (monthly) at 10.30am:
This group meets about once a month in the Green Pastures Cafe in Westhill. They discuss books they have previously chosen, to drink tea/coffee and to chat about life, the universe and everything else.
CARE HOME SERVICES, Sundays (monthly) at 2pm or 3pm:
We have taken on the responsibility of holding a short informal worship service at Maryfield West (2nd Sunday of the month at 2pm) and Crosby House Care Home (third Sunday of the month at 3pm). A group from the fellowship go along to sing, play an instrument, help residents find the words of a hymn or just chat with them.
You can find out when all the above activities take place in our calendar.
