A Christian Community in the City Centre Seeking to Make Christ Known
Our Pop-up Café, which is open to all, meets in the Church Vestibule. Tea and filter coffee, accompanied by home baking and/or biscuits, are free! If you are in town on a Tuesday with a bit of time to spare feel free to drop in and get to know us, you would be very welcome.
GOLDEN GIRLS, Tuesdays (fortnightly) at 2pm:
This
group is for ladies to chat over a cup of
tea and a 'fine piece' and meets at Charles Michie's on Union Street.
MEN TOGETHER, Wednesday (fortnightly) at 10am:
This
is a group for men to relax
together and 'solve the world's problems'. It meets at the Ferryhill Church Coffee Shop on Fonthill Road.
FELLOWSHIP GROUPS, Thursdays (fortnightly, alternate week from Prayer Gathering) at 1pm and 7.30pm:
We meet in small groups, one in the church at lunchtime, and two evening ones in homes, to learn from God and each other. Time is spent exploring the Bible, sharing together and praying for each other.
PRAYER GATHERING, Thursdays (fortnightly, alternate week from Fellowship Groups) at 1pm and 8pm:
We meet to pray together for the life of
the church, the city and beyond. Prayer may be in a large group, small
groups, or individually. Refreshments are available 30 minutes before.
THE QUAY, Fridays from 6.30pm - 8pm:
This is a drop-in for the vulnerable, and sometimes homeless, where they can come and have soup and bread, a sandwich and a hot drink on a Friday evening. They can also play pool, table tennis or board games, or chat with the volunteer staff drawn from our own and other fellowships. It meets in our large hall, down the lane to the left of the church.
5-A-SIDE FOOTBALL, Fridays at 9pm:
A
number of folk from the fellowship plus friends play
5-a-side football together on Friday evenings. Usually this is at Kincorth
Sports Centre. All are welcome!
BOOK GROUP, Saturdays (monthly) at 10.30am:
This
group meets about once a month in the Green Pastures Cafe in Westhill and is open to all who enjoy reading and discussing books they have read. The books are chosen in advance from reviews or personal recommendation. The book list and dates are published in the Church magazine and on the website calendar ahead of time so anyone who would like to join us has ample time to read the book. If you are interested please come along and check us out.
You can find out when all the above activities take place in our calendar.
