Who We Are

Crown Terrace Baptist Church, established in 1839, was the first Baptist Church in Aberdeen. We are located in the heart of the City and the surrounding area includes many licensed premises, night clubs, offices, shops and a large number of flats.  This is our mission field!

Our building was extensively renovated in 2008 to provide a main church area that is accessible to all and suitable for many uses. We hope that this will help fulfil the church’s vision to be "a Christian Community in the City Centre seeking to make Christ known". Our facilities include a disabled toilet and a lift. 

We are a multicultural church and our members and friends come from all ages, stages and walks of life. Our pastor, Rev. Gary Smith, was formerly the Young People's Advisor with the Baptist Union of Scotland.
